I had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel with beautiful gardens. The room was comfortable and well-decorated, with complimentary washing products in the en-suite. The breakfasts and evening meals were fresh and well-cooked, and the evening meals were great value for money. I especially appreciated the complementary tea and coffees in the bar/lounge area. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Cambridge, and there were also good chilling out spots nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.
There was a small issue with the pillows being rock hard, but the accommodating staff would have happily changed them if I had asked. Additionally, some of the waiting staff in the restaurant were a bit unprofessional, but their service didn't detract from the overall positive experience.

Very nice location (a little outside Cambridge, approx. 15 min. by car), very nice park !.. Super bar on the terrace !
The Dining-Hall is very college-like (like in a boarding school) - the breakfast is typically British: a lot of warm food - bad luck for those who like it more Continental (especially at daytime 30+° outside, you eat light + cold).

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at the hotel - the beautiful estate and the exceptional service made it worth every penny. The location was great, with stunning views from our room and the grandeur of the building added to the charm. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, even with a late check-in.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider range of choices, maybe some more vegetarian options.

It is a beautiful building from the outside.
This is really set up for students - It reminded me of staying in halls of residence when at University. Very bland feel to the place inside - Bar - very little atmosphere looked more like a canteen.

The grounds were beautiful even so early in the spring. The breakfast was well presented, was well cooked and there was ample choice. Staff were very polite friendly and helpful in all areas.
The bathroom was small and would benefit from of a power shower rather than the slow one currently installed.

Nice comfortable quiet room. pleasant atmoshere and buitiful old 1400 century building with lots of interesting architecture and original artworks. Loovely dinning room used for breakfast with excellent and well presented buffet breakfast with plenty of staff avilable if needed.
Disapointing single option menue for evening meal and had to be eaten in the bar area. Also arriving at 8.00 pm was initialy told only bar food available but they eventualy did provide the dinner albiet in the bar area which does not have the nice ambience of the dinning room. This lets such a nice hotel down quite badly, and even if they have a large conference dinner happening they need to make much better provision for private guests in this area as the same situation occurred on my second evening where I ordered dinner (1 choice) at 5.00pm and was told it would only be available to eat inthe bar area at 8.00pm, it in fact turned up at 8.00pm

Staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. Room was comfortable with space to sit, not just to sleep. Beautiful building. Great breakfast!
I have trouble with stairs and there were a lot of them. Our bar meals were mixed up so we ended up eating separately. Free internet access advertised but too slow to use effectively.
